Coverage
Coverage is the answer to a simple question: which markets and streams does the brain actually hold facts for, and how deep is that coverage? Because Oblifee reads coverage from the brain's live contents rather than a hand-kept list, the answer is always current - and it is published openly.
How coverage is measured
The brain holds facts by jurisdiction (a market) and by stream (packaging, weee, batteries). A jurisdiction counts as covered in a stream when it has at least one scheme, obligation or fee rate there. For each covered jurisdiction and stream, coverage is measured as counts:
| Measure | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Obligations | Registrations, reports, fee payments, plans and thresholds held. |
| Rates | Fee rates held for the stream. |
| Schemes | Producer responsibility schemes recorded. |
A jurisdiction with a registration path but no rates yet still appears - as emerging coverage - so you can see where the brain is heading, not only where it is complete.
The public coverage map
The live coverage map is published on the marketing site and reads straight from the brain:
How to read it
The map shows, per jurisdiction and stream:
- Whether Oblifee covers it, and in which streams.
- How deep the coverage is - the obligation, rate and scheme counts above, and a breakdown of obligation kinds.
- Totals across everything the brain holds - jurisdictions, obligations, rates and schemes.
- As-at date - when the underlying data was last loaded, plus its version, so you know how fresh the map is.
:::warning Counts, never contents The public map is deliberately limited to counts and statuses. It never exposes the actual rates, thresholds or citations - those are the product itself. You see the figures once you are in your workspace, on the Markets and obligations views. :::
Coverage keeps expanding
New markets and streams are added as the brain is monitored and curated. Because the map and the in-app views both read the brain's live contents, a newly added market appears everywhere the moment its facts are loaded - no app release required. Material additions are announced in the News feed. If a market you need is not yet covered, it is a question of when, not whether.
