News & changes
Rules change constantly, and a compliance tool that goes stale is worse than useless. The News feed is the regulatory brain's change log - a curated stream of reviewed changes, each written up in plain language with its impact and its sources. It is how you find out something moved, and how Oblifee proves it keeps pace.
What a change entry contains
Each entry is a reviewed change - not a raw feed. It carries:

| Summary | A plain-language explanation of the change. |
| Impact | What it means for you. |
| Sources | Citations to the official rule behind the change. |
Filtering and reading
The feed is a table you can narrow with three sets of filter chips:
- Region - focus on the parts of the world you care about.
- Stream - packaging, WEEE, batteries.
- Change type - the classification of the change.
Select any row to open its detail - the full summary, the impact on you, and the source links. The impact is highlighted so the "what does this mean for me" is never buried.
How changes reach you without opening News
You do not have to watch the feed to stay informed. Oblifee pushes the changes that matter to your workspace:
- A daily regulatory sweep looks at the brain for fee rates and obligations coming into force in the next 90 days in your markets - plus EU-level framework changes if you sell into an EU member - and notifies you.
- Owners get an email and an in-app bell notification; other members get the bell notification. Each event is sent once per workspace, so you are told, not spammed.
- Notifications link straight to the affected Markets or Obligations view.
You control what you receive per channel in your notification settings - regulatory, team and billing notifications can each be turned on or off for in-app and email independently.
The public feed
Oblifee also publishes a public version of the latest changes for its marketing site's "we update constantly" feed. The public feed is sanitised - it carries the date, region, stream, classification, severity, title, summary and citations, but it is served through the app, never straight from the brain, so the underlying dataset stays private. It shows the most recent handful of changes (the last few by default, capped at twenty).
