Nation by nation
EPR is not one rule - it is a different rule set in every nation you sell into. Oblifee gives you two explorers over the markets in your workspace: Obligations (what you must do, and when) and Markets (the rates that apply, and their detail). Both are scoped to the markets your own volumes place you in.

The obligations explorer
/portal/obligations lists every obligation the brain holds for your markets. Each
row carries:
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Market | The nation, with its flag and code. |
| Category | The kind of duty - see the table below. |
| Obligation | The named requirement. |
| Periodicity | How often it recurs (annual, quarterly, one-off, …). |
| Next due | The next date it falls due, if the brain holds a schedule. |
Obligations come in these kinds:
| Kind | What it is |
|---|---|
| Registration | You must register as a producer with the scheme or regulator. |
| Data report | You must submit packaging data. |
| Fee payment | You must pay fees. |
| Plan | A plan or declaration duty. |
| Threshold note | A note on the thresholds that decide whether a duty applies. |
Filter by market, kind or name; page through with the size control. An obligation that falls due within 45 days also appears as a "due soon" warning on your position.
Drilling into a market and material

/portal/markets lists the cited rate for each market and material you use. Click
any rate - or Detail - to open the
rate detail view, where you see the
rate's unit, validity dates, eco-modulation multipliers, and the weight and fee
your own products contribute.
Thresholds and what triggers registration
Most EPR duties only bite above a threshold - typically a turnover figure and a tonnage of packaging handled in a year. Below it, you may have lighter duties or none; above it, registration and reporting apply.
- The registration obligations in the explorer are the duties that apply once you are in scope, each with its cadence, due dates and citations to the regulator's guidance.
- The underlying threshold rules are cited facts in the brain. For a market-by-market view of who must register, where, and how, use the Registrations module.
:::warning Thresholds change, and they are cumulative A threshold can be crossed by growth during a year, and obligations can backdate to when you crossed it. Treat a "due soon" alert as a prompt to check your standing, and confirm the current threshold from the cited source before you rely on being out of scope. :::
:::tip Not sure if a nation applies to you? Ask Obli - it reads your volumes and the brain and will tell you which markets you are likely in scope for, and point you at the exact obligation. :::
