Signing in
Oblifee does not run its own password system. You sign in through a managed identity provider, and Oblifee only ever receives a verified identity - never a password. This page explains what you will see and what happens behind it. For the security detail, see Authentication.

How sign-in works
When you open Oblifee signed out, you are offered a small number of sign-in options:
| Option | What it is |
|---|---|
| Sign in with Oblifee | An Oblifee account backed by the customer identity directory - use an email address or a linked social sign-on. |
| Continue with Google | Sign in with your existing Google account. |
Whichever you choose, your provider verifies who you are and hands Oblifee a confirmed identity. Oblifee never sees or stores your password. There is no separate Oblifee credential to manage, reset or leak.
:::info Registering is the same as signing in There is no separate sign-up form. Choosing a provider and completing its prompts signs you in; if it is your first time, your account is created on the spot. :::
First-time access
The first time you sign in, Oblifee creates your user record automatically from the verified details your provider supplies (your name and email). What happens next depends on whether you already belong to a workspace:
- If you have no workspace yet, you are asked to create one.
- If you were invited, you go straight into that workspace.
Joining an existing workspace by invitation
Most people join a workspace someone else set up. An owner or admin invites you by email from their Team page and picks your role.
- You receive an invitation email for the workspace.
- Sign in to Oblifee with the same email address the invitation was sent to.
- You are added to that workspace automatically with the role you were given - no code to paste.
:::tip Match the email The invitation is tied to the email address it was sent to. Sign in with that address (through any provider that carries it) and Oblifee links you up on your first visit. If you already had an account, the workspace simply appears for you. :::
If you belong to more than one workspace, you can move between them with the workspace switcher.
Sessions and signing out
Your signed-in session is kept in a secure cookie; you stay signed in across visits until it expires or you sign out. To sign out, open the user menu at the top right and choose Sign out. The only thing Oblifee stores about your session is which workspace you are currently working in.
Where to go next
- Quick start - your first workspace, end to end.
- Team and roles - invite colleagues and set what they can do.
- Authentication - the security detail behind sign-in.
