What is Oblifee?

Oblifee is a packaging-compliance platform for the businesses that place packaging, electricals and batteries on the market - and for the consultants who look after them. It turns the data you already have about your products into submission-ready Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) calculations, on-pack labelling checks, recyclability ratings and regulatory reports, market by market, with every figure traced back to its source.

It is built as a modular platform: you start with packaging EPR and switch on the modules you need as your obligations grow - labelling, recyclability, WEEE & batteries, PPWR reporting and a consultant workbench - all reading the same, continuously monitored regulatory dataset.

The dashboard is your home base: current position, anything needing attention, and the next best action.

Why it exists

Packaging EPR rules are fragmented, fast-moving and unforgiving. A single product can carry obligations in several nations at once, each with its own fee schedule, material categories, registration thresholds and labelling rules - and those rules change constantly. Most SMEs track this in spreadsheets that go stale the moment a regulator updates guidance.

Oblifee replaces that with a live system:

  • One source of truth for your products, packaging, brands, businesses and markets.
  • A regulatory brain that is monitored every day and cites the rule behind every number.
  • Honest confidence labels so you always know whether a figure is confirmed, illustrative or an estimate.
  • Modules that layer new obligations on top of the same data, so you enter something once and it answers everywhere.

The big picture

Your data goes in once - by hand, by spreadsheet import, or automatically from your storefront or ERP. The modules you have enabled read that data and the regulatory brain to produce your position, your obligations and your reports. Obli, the built-in AI assistant, sits across all of it to answer questions and walk you through tasks.

Core concepts

You will meet these ideas throughout the docs. They are worth learning once.

ConceptWhat it means
Workspace (tenant)Your isolated environment. All your data lives inside it and is never shared with another workspace.
BusinessA legal entity that places goods on the market - with its registered and operating addresses, key contacts and the person responsible for compliance. A workspace can hold several.
BrandA trading brand. Brands can span more than one business, so they are managed separately and linked to products.
ProductSomething you sell, with its packaging broken down into components (materials, weights) grouped per pack.
VolumeHow much you placed on a market over a period - the quantity that drives fees and thresholds.
MarketA nation (or region) where you have obligations. Each market has its own rules in the brain.
ModuleA switchable capability - EPR, labelling, RAM, WEEE, reporting, consultant workbench.
The regulatory brainOblifee's continuously monitored dataset of rules, fees, thresholds and guidance, with citations and confidence labels.
Confidence labelEvery figure is tagged confirmed, illustrative or estimate so you know how much to lean on it.

What Oblifee is not

  • It is not a submission portal itself - it prepares submission-ready figures and reports you file with each scheme, and tracks what you owe and when.
  • It does not give legal advice. It cites the rules and labels its confidence; you and your advisors make the final call. See Confidence & citations.
  • It is not a sales-channel connector for order management - the integrations pull the product and volume data compliance needs, nothing more.
