Release notes

What's new in Oblifee, most recent first. Entries are user-facing summaries; for the regulatory changes Oblifee tracks about the outside world, see the regulatory change feed.

:::info In beta Oblifee is in public beta. During the beta, every module is switched on for every workspace so you can try the whole platform - see Compliance modules. :::

August 2026

A modular platform. Oblifee became a modular compliance platform: a base plan covering packaging EPR, plus module add-ons you switch on as your obligations grow. Module pricing is shown throughout; during the beta everything is available to everyone. See Plans & modules.

Recyclability (RAM) in product setup. Recyclability rating moved into product setup, so each product's packaging is assessed as you build it and modulated-fee risk surfaces early. See Recyclability.

WEEE & batteries module. Producer obligations for electrical and electronic equipment and for batteries now sit alongside packaging, reading the same product data. See WEEE & batteries.

Reporting & PPWR module. A reporting workspace that tells you whether your submissions are ready and tracks your position against the EU PPWR. See Reporting & PPWR.

On-pack labelling module. Run a label check that reads what is visibly on your packaging artwork and compares it, deterministically, to the cited on-pack requirements for the product's markets - bucketing each requirement into correct, missing, coming or needs-adjusting. See On-pack labelling.

Consultant workbench. Manage a portfolio of client workspaces from one place, each fully isolated. See Consultant workbench.

Regulatory change feed (News). A curated feed of reviewed regulatory changes, each with a plain-language summary and its impact on you, so a rule change in one of your markets reaches you as a notification rather than a surprise. See The regulatory brain.

Businesses and brands, split out. Businesses are now full legal entities - registered and operating addresses, company number and key contacts, including the person responsible for compliance. Brands were separated from businesses so a brand can span more than one business. See Businesses and Brands.
